2018 Youth Holiday Party!

Last Saturday was one of the best days of the year - our annual Youth Holiday Party! Over 200 youth, CASAs, families and volunteers came together to celebrate the season. SFCASA Volunteer Debbie Degutis spearheaded an amazing event, with DLA Piper generously hosting again this year, and a delicious lunch provided by Olive Garden. Cinta Aveda Institute was there styling new hairdo’s and makeup, and we even had an awesome photo booth from Two Dudes Photos! Kids made crafts, had their faces painted and portraits drawn and got to connect with their friends and family. Our balloon artist Twistyman was back again and as ever, the bingo room was a huge hit! The kids even got to indulge in some delicious treats from Cakes 4 Kids and took home tons of prizes.
After all the fun, kids went home with a gift provided by SFCASA with help from our incredible gift drive partners! This year, gift drives by Susan Crown and Mulberry’s Market, Lisa Spinali, Wells Fargo, Maverick Capital, Progress Investment Management, St. Finn Barr School, LinkedIn, Hamilton Lane, Merrill Lynch, DLA Piper, Neuberger Berman and Millennium Farm brought in over $30,000 in gifts for our kids! Stockings stuffed to the brim were provided by Holland & Knight, Wells Fargo and the USF Kappa Alpha Theta Chapter, and Project Glimmer provided tons of goodies for kids to take home. SFCASA is so grateful for our amazing community of supporters who worked so hard to make the party a memorable day for our youth!
