Join SFCASA for a Happy Hour / Info Session to Kick Off Fall Training

San Francisco Court Appointed Special Advocates (SFCASA) will partner with the Runway Incubator in the Twitter building for a happy hour focused on recruiting our next fall CASA volunteer class. Join us for drinks, snacks, and information about how you can contribute to our vital mission to support San Francisco’s youth in foster care. Learn about becoming a CASA volunteer, a designated advocate who speaks up for a child’s rights and needs in court.

This year, SFCASA is working even harder towards reaching its goal of serving all of San Francisco’s foster youth with a CASA volunteer. In particular, we are trying to expand the recruitment of male CASA volunteers to better serve the many young men who need CASAs and may not have other male adults in their lives.

The night will include a speech from a former foster youth whom CASA has served, and explain more about what it takes to become a CASA and how you can get involved. Whether you join us by yourself or bring members of your community along to learn more, we can’t wait to meet you!
